CHALLENGE

A Global Investigations Firm wanted to streamline their web search burden of over 100 searches for any single investigation. The challenge was to improve the efficiency of the proprietary software supporting this process given the multiple data formats, multiple search results, and data that was housed originating from authenticated, and non-authenticated sources

SOLUTION

IT Ally defined an automated process using headless browser capabilities as well as Robotic Process Automation to automate most of the searches into one data entry form. We designed a framework for the data collection to be centralized and maintain integrity by non-duplication of searches. Our plan included the outsourced development of a frontend that could be used as a tool for the enterprise to speed up search and archival process across multiple domains. The tool could later be combined with an AI interface to parse the data into a concise report form.

RESULTS

Created a system that was able to automate 80% of searched performed into one single point of data entry, reducing labor time by 70%. Company now able to use increased efficiency to grow without adding headcount. Our solution not only allowed the company to leverage increased efficiency, but also created the foundation for a direct-to-consumer search model using proprietary business intelligence of the company.
