CHALLENGE

A private equity backed, global environmental services company focused on recycling, processing, treatment and management of metal bearing industrial waste streams needed to hire its first IT leader to support the growth of the company.

SOLUTION

Leveraging the knowledge gained from the IT and Cybersecurity due diligence performed as part of the acquisition by the PE, we were able to design the IT operating model and develop the position description of the new IT leader position. In collaboration with the client and the PE owners, we initiated a search to source local candidates for IT Director position.

RESULTS

The local IT Director was hired in 4 weeks following a rapid search that utilized our talent advisory services and network to identify, select and recruit the candidate. We also were able to accelerate the onboarding and knowledge transfer process and support them with understanding the post closing roadmap and priority initiatives from our due diligence to be executed.
